The Gladstone Axe

Inspired by Sir William Gladstone, a four-time prime minister of England who signed the Spirits Act of 1860, allowing the blending of Scotch for the first time. Gladstone Axe whiskies are sourced from 14 different Highland and Islay distilleries and blended into two unique expressions:  American Oak that is aged and finished in Bourbon barrels, and The Black Axe with a touch more Islay malt that gives a smoky character 

Known as The Grand Old Man, Sir William Gladstone’s passion and pastime was felling trees with his trusty collection of axes and is embodied in the bottle.
