Commitment to the Community

Stuart Alexander prides itself on a strong Australian heritage and we enjoy every opportunity to lend our support to the Australian community. As a result there was a desire some years ago by Stuart Alexander Pty Ltd to create The Stuart Alexander Foundation.

Stuart Alexander has a long history in the Australian market and has been a significant part of most Australian households with its range of confectionary and food brands. The Foundation has been designed as a charitable organisation through which Stuart Alexander will channel all its philanthropic activities and is focused on making a real difference to the Australia that we live and work in every day.

The Foundation is primarily aligned with the Smith Family and an annual donation goes towards supporting the Learning for Life programme. The Smith Family’s Learning for Life program is a financial and personal educational support program. The primary purpose of Learning for Life is to increase participation in the education process of students from financially disadvantaged families, and in doing so, prevent their current disadvantage from translating into lifelong disadvantage.

Regular staff events and fundraising activities will add to the annual donation and through The Foundation, Stuart Alexander will continue to give back to the Australian community that it is so proud to be a part of.
