Margaret Haseltine (Chair)
Margaret Haseltine has more than 30 years business experience having held a broad range of senior positions, including 10 years of Board Directorships.
A proven executive leader, Margaret has delivered significant achievements in the areas of change management, governance, organisational culture and profitability. Margaret was CEO of Mars Food Australia, a food manufacturing business worth $380M and employing more than 580 people, for 5 years from 2004. During this time she was also responsible the Mars Inc. supply chain for Australasia with a $1bn portfolio.
Garry Browne AM
Garry Browne AM was formerly the CEO and Managing Director of Stuart Alexander & Co. (1997 – 2017).
A respected business and industry leader and a master of brand building, Garry successfully introduced numerous international brands to Australia including Moccona instant coffee, Guylian chocolates, Tabasco, Fisherman’s Friend and Mentos.
A Director of Stuart Alexander & Co. since 2003, Craig has been an advisor to the business for over 30 years.
With more than 35 years’ experience in Corporate and Business Advisory, including managing growth sustainably, guiding corporations through changes in their business models, successfully transitioning generational change in ownership, strategic asset management and performance improvement. Additionally he provides project management of asset acquisitions or disposals and client advocacy in commercial disputes or on matters of a sensitive commercial nature.
In Craig's role as Managing Director for Cornerstone Advisory, he advises privately owned businesses with turnover ranging from $10 million to in excess of $300 million.
Roland Van Bommel
Roland Van Bommel has extensive senior management experience in the FMCG industry and has worked and lived in several countries in Europe and Asia.
Roland is currently a Non-Executive Director of Asahi Holdings Australia and is Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and Member of the Audit and Risk committee. He is also a Non-Executive Director of iCare, a Sydney based NGO and is Chairman of US based WhistlePig LLC .
Julie has over 25 years’ experience in building brands, having held senior roles in marketing, strategy and business management in Australia, Asia and the United States over a range of FMCG and manufacturing based companies including S.C. Johnson, Kellogg’s and Unilever.
In addition to being a Director at Stuart Alexander & Co., Julie is also an Independent Non-Executive Director of Capilano Honey, a Director of RT Health Fund, Transport Health Pty Limited, Barnardos Australia and Corporate Property Group.
Nick Nairn is the CEO of Stuart Alexander & Co.
Having joined Stuart Alexander & Co as General Manager, Sales and Marketing in early 2017, Nick was appointed to CEO in January 2018.
Nick brings a strong background in FMCG having held several senior roles across organisations such as DBG Australia (Drinkworks) part of Heineken, Frucor Beverages and PepsiCo.
Paul Cassar is the Chief Operating Officer for Stuart Alexander & Co.
Having joined Stuart Alexander & Co as General Manager Supply Chain & Procurement in Feb 2017, Paul was appointed to COO in February 2018.
With over 25 years’ experience in supply chain, commercial and program management, Paul has worked across the FMCG sector in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Asia.
Joining Stuart Alexander & Co. in May 2014, John is a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer with experience across a diverse range of organisational types and industries, including FMCG, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals and Retail sectors.
John’s strengths lie in his strategic, commercial and financial analytical skills as well as his ability to embed rigorous financial controls, instil disciplined governance and implement cost reducing initiatives.
Paul was appointed Director of Sales for Stuart Alexander & Co in January 2018.
Prior to this role Paul was the Head of Sales, a role he held from May 2013.
With over 15 years of sales experience, Paul is an accomplished FMCG Sales Leader and a specialist within the retail grocery environment. His previous Sales experience is with Goodman Fielder and Campbell Arnott’s.
